“Spirited” is part of my Unspoken collection, where I explore the expressive power of body language. In this piece, I use chiaroscuro techniques to contrast light and shadow, capturing the dynamic energy of a male dancer in motion.

Through this distinctive charcoal application, I aim to evoke the feeling of power and surrender combined—the title Spirited is a comment on learning how to surrender to the spirit and find otherworldly strength from outside of oneself. It’s about reaching for God.
